摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a gas sensor which enables the formation of a protective film with good production efficiency in a short time in forming the protective film for preventing the contact with a filling layer containing a glass component to the rear end surface of a sensor element. <P>SOLUTION: After the rear end surface 112 of a detection element 11 for constituting the sensor element 14 is coated with a solventless insulating paste containing an ultraviolet curable resin and insulating alumina powder, the insulating paste is irradiated with ultraviolet rays for 5 sec to form a cured film 133. Then, the sensor element 14 is inserted in a ceramic holder 13, and a talc-mixed powder 304 prepared by mixing a crystallized glass powder and a talc powder and becoming a first filling layer 302 and a crystallized glass powder 314 becoming a second filling layer 304 are successively supplied to be heat-treated. By this method, the cured film 133 formed on the rear end surface 112 of the detection element 11 is heat-treated to become the protective film 33 and this protective film 33 prevents the contact of the detection element 11 with the glass component of the second filling layer 302. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
