A manufacturing method of artificial stone is provided to obtain a splendid appearance on an artificial stone to the user's taste by employing chip-sheet of various designs. A preparation method of an artificial stone comprises steps of: transferring an adhesive in a pattern on a sheet; scattering a chip on the sheet which is transferred by the adhesive; forming an artificial stone with the chip-sheet having the chip of a pattern; and removing the sheet. The method optionally comprises a step of removing uncombined chip after setting the chip sheet. Specifically, a number of chip sheet of various designs are inserted to the bottom of a mold(90), and the chip(80) faces forward to the upper part. Then, a base binder paste(100) is added, and an artificial stone is formed by means of press and vibrator which remove air bubbles in the raw material. A finished product(110) of artificial stone is obtained by a process comprising curing, unmolding and releasing of the sheet or surface polishing. The adhesive is at least one selected from polyvinyl chloride sol, thermosetting acrylic adhesive, thermosetting epoxy adhesive, methylmethacrylate sol comprising a curing agent and unsaturated polyester sol comprising a curing agent. Further, the chip is one or more selected from resin chip, native rock chip and glass chip, and the sheet is paper, resin film or glass film. |
