<p>An apparatus for detecting oscillation level of a mini repeater, and a method thereof are provided to control the gain by detecting the oscillation periodically even at a low output state, and to display present gain status of a repeater through a multi color LED. An apparatus for detecting oscillation level of a mini repeater comprises a first duplexer(10), a second duplexer(20), and forward/backward transmitting units(30,40) which are made up of LNA(Low Noise Amp)(31,41), AGC(Auto Gain Controller)(32,42), frequency transformation units(33,43), SAW filters(34,44), driving amplifiers(35,45) and HPA(High Pass Amp)(36,46). A controller(100) decreases the gain periodically, outputs an control signal when the oscillation level caused by sudden output reduction is detected, and displays a value of the gain of the AGC according to the level. A multi-color LED(200) displays the gain value of the AGC according to the level in the normal state and oscillation state under the control of the controller.</p> |
