A 1,5-diphenyl-8-methyl-6,7-dioxa-bicyclo[3.2.2]nonane having an endoperoxide ring is provided to show excellent inhibitory effect on proliferation of Toxoplasma gondii, thereby being used for a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating toxoplasmosis. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating toxoplasmosis comprises 0.1-50 wt.% of a 1,5-diphenyl-8-methyl-6,7-dioxa-bicyclo[3.2.2]nonane having an endoperoxide ring represented by a formula(A) as an effective ingredient.
