A magnet mounting cap and a magnet toy using the same are provided to simplify and constitute efficiently the manufacturing process and to prevent a magnet from being separated. A magnet mounting cap(100) includes a stopper portion(110), a circumference portion(120), a separation preventing portion(130) and a wedge portion(140). The circumference portion extends downwardly from the stopper portion. The separation preventing portion extends from the lower end of the circumference portion in a direction of the inner side to prevent the separation of a magnet(200) received into an inner area formed by the stopper portion and the circumference portion. The wedge portion is formed to protrude on an outer side of the circumference portion and the separation preventing portion.
