PURIFICATION OF CARBON DIOXIDE

A carbon dioxide purification method is provided to recover carbon dioxide from the flue gas generated during an oxyfuel burning process and the waste gas generated during a hydrogen PSA(Pressure Swing Adsorption) process and to reduce the concentration of first pollutants below 1000ppm. A carbon dioxide purification method for removing first pollutants selected from oxygen and carbon monoxide, from impure liquid carbon dioxide comprises a step for generating first pollutant concentrated top steam and carbon dioxide concentrated bottom liquid by separating the impure liquid carbon dioxide in a material transferring and separating column system(C104) and a step for generating the carbon dioxide concentrated steam and the cooled un-refined carbon dioxide fluid toward the column system by vaporizing some of the carbon dioxide concentrated bottom liquid by indirectly heat-exchanging the un-refined carbon dioxide fluid. The concentration of carbon dioxide of the impure liquid carbon dioxide is higher than that of the un-refined carbon dioxide fluid.
