An apparatus for editing multichannel-included video display of a digital broadcast receiver is provided to reduce an operation cost of a local service system by removing the necessity of installing expensive equipment for inserting a broadcast channel into a mosaic EPG in the local service system. A demultiplexer(13) configures multichannel-included video, and demultiplexes a signal obtained by multiplexing as an identifier of a local service system and a video signal. A video decoder(16) decodes a video signal provided from the demultiplexer. A multichannel-included video configuring decoder(17) decodes a multichannel-included video provided from the demultiplexer. A screen image configuring unit(18) receives the multichannel-included video from the multichannel-included video configuring decoder, and generates a video editing request and a graphic editing request to display video of a broadcast channel corresponding to a local service system identifier provided from the demultiplexer at a particular position. An output video editing unit(19) edits desired areas of corresponding video according to the video editing request. A video memory(20) stores the video signal provided from the video decoder and the edited video accessed by the output video editing unit. A graphic processing unit(21) processes graphic images according to the graphic editing request. A video/graphic converging unit(23) converges the video provided from the video memory and the graphic image provided from the graphic processor to generate single video.
