An input shaft for a brake booster in a vehicle is provided to thoroughly removing a gap between a first plunger and an input shaft in order to reduce the squeal noise caused by a reciprocal action of the first plunger and the input shaft. An input shaft for a brake booster in a vehicle comprises a casing, a center plate portioning the casing into a front chamber and a rear chamber, a valve main body(4), a poppet valve(5), an input shaft(6), a first plunger, and a second plunger(9). The input shaft includes an on end portion connected with a brake pedal to directly open/close the poppet valve by operating the brake pedal. The first plunger transfers the compressed force applied by the operation of the brake pedal into the second plunger. The input shaft further includes a first spring(10a) and a second spring(10b) to resiliently support the input shaft and the poppet valve, respectively. |
