PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a network diagram showing the relationship between unique expressions (person name or organization name or the like) related to a retrieval key in a short time after the input of the retrieval key. SOLUTION: In the case of registering a document to be retrieved, a relation analyzing part 2 extracts unique expressions included in the document, and generates relation information showing the relationship between the extracted unique expressions, and a relation information registration part 3 registers the relation information generated by the relation analyzing part 2 in a relation index storage device 5. In retrieving the document, when a user inputs a retrieval key, a retrieval part 7 retrieves the relation information adapted to the retrieval key from the relation index storage device 5, and a retrieval result integration part 8 perform the graphic display of the relationship between the unique expressions shown by the relation information retrieved by the retrieval part 7 by using a network diagram.
