A lesion recognition unit 7 specifies a palpation point P<SB>max</SB>at which the reaction of the user observed by the reaction observation unit 6 is the largest among palpation points P<SB>1</SB>-P<SB>N</SB>set by a palpation point setting unit 4 and recognizes the palpation point P<SB>max</SB>as a lesion.
