METHOD FOR ACTING ON TACTILE SENSATION, AND TACTILE SENSATION DEVICE AND VARIABLE BENDING MECHANISM FOR REALIZING THE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for acting on tactile sensation, that can notice physical functions related to human tactile sensation, change the tactile sensation by a simple principle and obtain tactile sensation information and to provide a tactile sensation device and a variable bending mechanism for realizing the method.

SOLUTION: The method for acting on tactile sensation comprises a variable tactile sensation step for varying tactile sensation by the tactile sensation device without interrupting direct contact with an object and a tactile sensation detection step for detecting tactile sensation information through the tactile sensation device. The variable tactile sensation step can be made as a deformation step for deforming skin or a nail. The tactile sensation device is composed of a variable tactile sensation part for varying tactile sensation without interrupting direct contact with the object and a tactile sensation detection part for detecting tactile sensation information. The variable tactile sensation part can be made as a deformation part for deforming skin or a nail. The variable bending mechanism can adjust deformation quantity to be applied to the skin or the nail. The variable vending mechanism can be applied as the deformation part.
