<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient management support method for a supply chain that prevents delay in production due to deficiency of materials and work-in-process goods and delay in shipment due to shortage of finished goods in inventory even when there occurs a change in a sales plan due to a sudden increase in sales in a supply chain, prevents unnecessary inventory of materials, work-in-process goods, and finished goods, and keeps the amount of inventories to the minimum. <P>SOLUTION: Simulation data is created based on a changed sales plan, a changed production plan, information on finished goods, and information on production when there occurs a change in sales plan in a supply chain. Simulation is run with a supply chain model which is modeled after the supply chain based on the simulation data to compute an inventory in a plurality of operation areas in which there arises no deficiency and the inventory is kept to the minimum even when there occurs a change in a sales plan, and a safe inventory set value of the inventory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
