摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy and to shorten the rolling time, by operating on the basis of information, etc., previously inputted to the automatic deceleration controller, in order to previously once slow down and to finally decelerate at the moment detecting the tail end. CONSTITUTION:The position just under the first stand 5 is taken as the point of completing the deceleration of the tail end of the coil; after detecting the tail end of the coil with the tail end detector 9, the deceleration command signal 14 is given to the rolling mill, on the basis of information on the coil side and the mill side, etc.; and the automatic deceleration controller 10 previously operates to judge whether the deceleration of the mill is in good time or not. As the result of this operation, if the deceleration is learned to be too late, the controller 10 operates the degree of previous deceleration to a speed proper for making the following deceleration to be in good time. When the residual amount of the coil 2 on the inlet side becomes less than the specified value, the speed is once slowed down to above stated speed. And according to the signal from the tail end detector 9, the final deceleration is given to the mill. According to this method, the accuracy is greatly improved, and overall rolling time can be effectively shortened.</p>
