PURPOSE:To reduce abrasion of the titled catalyst resulting from fly ash, by arranging a wearing agent contg. both an abrasion resistant material such as ceramic and an adhesive resistant to corrosion and resistant to heat in the end face of a gas inlet of the solid catalyst for a stack gas denitration apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A honeycomb-shaped solid catalyst 1 for a stack gas denitration apparatus is constituted by arranging a covered layer 3 applied with an abrasion resistant material in the end face 2 of a gas inlet in such a state that it is incorporated in a gas passage of the stack gas denitration apparatus. As the abrasion resistant material, both the abrasion resistant material consisting of ceramic powder having about 200-500mu particle diameter and an erosion resistant material having corrosion resistance and that resistance such as 'ceramic coat SPF1(R)' (brand name) are mixed in the proportion of (65-75) to (35-25) by percentage and this mixture is preferably used. When incorporating this catalyst 1, stack gas is allowed to flow to the rear flow side 7 along gas flow paths 4 and denitrated by wall faces 6 of the catalyst and fly ash contained in gas is allowed to collide against the covered layer 3 and allowed to flow to the rear flow side 7. |
