PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small air filter cleaning device capable of efficiently collecting and discarding dust. SOLUTION: The air filter cleaning device comprises a dust collecting unit 17 communicating with a suction nozzle (not shown in the figure) for sucking dust on an air filter (not shown in the figure). The dust collecting unit 17 comprises a suction case 13 having an upper chamber 13j and a lower chamber 13k formed partitioned by a partition wall 13b with a first connection hole 13c; a suction fan 20 communicating with the upper chamber 13j and sucking dust; and a dust collecting case 15 attachable/detachable to/from the lower chamber 13k and having a filter 15a at a sidewall. The suction case 13 is provided with a tunnel 13d serving for communication between the first connection hole 13c and the suction nozzle, and the upper part of the dust collecting case 15 is provided with a second connection hole 15b facing the first connection hole 13c when the dust collecting case 15 is mounted to the lower chamber 13k. The partition wall 13b is provided with a ventilating port 13f serving for communication between the upper chamber 13j and a space 50 formed between an outer wall of the dust collecting case 15 and an inner wall of the suction case 13.
