A post has a rectangular cross-sectional shape and mounted on one end of the post is a protective sleeve. The sleeve provides a cylindrical sidewall within which one end of the rectangular elastomeric seal is engaged with the sidewall peripheral to the post. A pair of L-shaped moldings are mounted exterior to the elastomeric seal providing engagement within a groove of the elastomeric seal and exerting a sealing force against the elastomeric seal and the post.
