<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type water heater not losing a function even when electric power supply to an HP electronic controller is stopped. <P>SOLUTION: The heat pump type water heater is provided with a first control means 9 for controlling a heat pump cycle, a second control means 11 for controlling a hot water supply cycle, and an outside air temperature detecting means 10 for detecting a temperature of outside air. It is composed of a heat pump unit 7 having the heat pump cycle, the first control means 9, and the outside air temperature detecting means 10, and a tank unit 8 having the hot water supply cycle excluding a water-coolant heat exchanger 2, and the second control means 11. Power is supplied to the pump unit 7 via the tank unit 8, and while power supply to the heat pump unit 7 is being cut off, the outside air temperature is estimated by the second control means 11 based on the outside air temperature detected by the outside air temperature detecting means 10 right before cutoff of the power supply to the heat pump unit 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
