PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sequence control device that can easily detect a failure in transfer route switching means during control and can easily execute a failure recovery processing. SOLUTION: The sequence control device 12 for a transfer apparatus that connects a plurality of tanks A to C through piping 10 and switches transfer route switching means V01, V02, V03 and P01 disposed in the piping 10 appropriately to transfer an object between the tanks A to C includes a sequence map 20 with set values entered in advance, and a processing part 21 for executing processing based on the set values set in the sequence map 20. The sequence map 20 has a check item setting part 103 for the transfer route switching means V01, V02, V03 and P01, and symbols representing operational states of the transfer route switching means V01, V02, V03 and P01 are set in the check item setting part 103.
