PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have high tolerance for noise, enhance the speed and transmit a long cable transmittable signal from a VDP (Video Display Processor) to an LCD in a game machine. SOLUTION: In an ornamental symbol control board for controlling a performance display of the LCD in the game machine, display data are transmitted from the VDP 385 to the LCD 16 in the following methods. When the VDP outputs an LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling), a receiver 338A once converts it into CMOS signal, a transmitter 336A converts it into LVDS and outputs it to the outside. The use of the transmitter dedicated to the LVDS can secure a signal precision and transmit a signal with high tolerance for noise while effectively utilizing the LVDS signal output from the VDP.
