<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation system capable of shortening a user's wait time until the recovery of an image forming apparatus to an actuation state. <P>SOLUTION: On a floor, a plurality of radio base stations 5 having antennas are arranged so as to surround an IC reader 3. A user who has instructed a printer 2 to print from a personal computer 1 moves to the IC reader 3 arranged nearby the printer 2 and puts his or her portable communication terminal 4 close to the IC reader 3 to be authenticated. A plurality of radio base stations 5 receive radio waves sent from portable communication terminal 4 and then the printer 2 acquires position information on the portable communication terminal 4. When the printer 2 is in energy-saving mode, the printer 2 starts recovering to its actuation state as the user having sent the print instruction enters an internal area 6 to come close to the IC reader 3 for authentication. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
