<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease leakage of light, even if alignment of liquid crystal molecules is disturbed, by forming a spacer on a light-shielding layer and close to a blue-color filter. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display element 20 includes two substrates 21, 22 opposing each other, a liquid crystal layer 23, spacers 2 regulating the thickness of the liquid crystal layer, a red filter (R), a green filter (G) and a blue filter (B) formed on the inner surface of one of the substrates, and a light-shielding layer 1 formed in a space among the above filters, wherein the spacers 2 are disposed above the light-shielding layer 1 and close to the blue filter (B). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
