PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly retrieve a content such as an image even in using a sensitive retrieval word. SOLUTION: A first database DB1 in which a plurality of types of text and color patterns relevant to the meaning of each text are associated with each other and a second database DB2 in which a plurality of types of content and color patterns shown by the content are associated with each other are prepared. When the input of a retrieval word is accepted by an input part 2, a retrieval part 3 retrieves the color pattern relevant to the meaning of the text shown by the input retrieval word by referring to the first database DB1, and retrieves the content associated with the retrieved color pattern by referring to the second database DB2.
