PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for extrusion at a low cost, which die can be used under large pressure, and can be applied for brittle materials. SOLUTION: The die for extrusion comprises a first die which has a through-hole formed therein and a groove formed so as to arrive to the through hole from the edge portion of one opening surface to which the through-hole opens, and a second die which has an abutting surface having a profile for enveloping the opening portion of the through-hole and the groove on the opening surface.
