<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording apparatus causing no serious degradation in image quality even if a gas or the like generated by laser irradiation re-adhere to the surface of an image recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: A laser light source 42 has a plurality of semiconductor lasers ch arranged in a direction intersecting a primary scanning direction X.
