<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of accurately detecting a ground color on the basis of the image data of a color system for which components relating to brightness and components relating to hues are separated, and a color judgement method. <P>SOLUTION: The YCC image data (image data expressed in YCbCr color space) of an original are acquired on the basis of RGB image data acquired by reading the prescribed region of an original, and a luminance histogram h indicating the luminance distribution of the image data is prepared. Then, a section wherein a degree exceeds a prescribed threshold W in the luminance histogram h is extracted as a recording object section R, and the image data belonging to the recording object section R are detected as ground color image data due to the ground color of the original. The luminance component and color difference component of the ground color image data are recorded as the maximum/minimum values of the color region of the base color, and the base color included in the original is specified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
