PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality judgment device for an internal combustion engine of a cylinder injection type capable of judging abnormality of a fuel injection system and dilution abnormality of lubricating oil separately. SOLUTION: This device judges presence or absence of a deviation tendency to a rich side from a target air-fuel ratio of air-fuel ratio ("significant deviation to a rich side of the air-fuel ratio") and presence or absence of a decrease tendency of oil pressure of engine oil ("significant decrease of oil pressure"). In the case where the "significant deviation to a rich side of the air-fuel ratio" is detected and the significant decrease of oil pressure" is not detected, it is judged as the abnormality of the fuel injection system such as an injector and an air flow meter ("fuel system rich abnormality") (a step 425). In the case where both the "significant deviation to a rich side of the air-fuel ratio" and the "significant decrease of oil pressure" are detected, it is judged as the dilution abnormality of the engine oil due to droplet fuel inclusion to the engine oil in a crank case ("oil dilution abnormality")(a step 440).
