<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a touch feeling accurately corresponding to the force of key depression. <P>SOLUTION: The operation of a key which is applied with restoring force to return to an initial position by a restoring force generating member and for performing playing operation is detected, and auxiliary force to reduce the restoring force is made to operate after the start point of the operation of key being pressed. A feeling of a touch which abruptly becomes light after the middle of keying operation of an acoustic piano can be reproduced.
