<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with a problem to generate a condition that jobs requiring the use of a hold function are continuously input to a printing device from outer devices even though the hold function such as various user needs and use cases relating to the hold function is invalidated, to avoid the problem that the data of jobs requiring the use of the hold function remain in a memory even though the hold function is invalidated, and to prevent the data to be permanently unused from remaining in the memory area when invalidating the hold function. <P>SOLUTION: A printing system is constituted in which the processing of the jobs requiring the use of the hold function holding the data of the job to be processed in a memory means can be executed in the printing device in the present invention. The printing system has a control section invalidating the hold function.
