PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal endoscope housing which can be easily manufactured and permits internal members surrounded by the housing to be simply incorporated. SOLUTION: In the metal endoscope housing (1, 15, 24, 28, 32, 34) formed of length direction portions (2, 3, 17, 18, 19 and 20) having different cross-sections and/or formed around a vertical axis extending in a bent form (Fig. 4) or arc form (Fig. 10), the housing (1, 15, 24, 28, 32, 34) is formed of partial shells (8, 8', 13, 13', 13'', 21, 21', 22, 22', 22'', 22''', 29, 30, 33, 33', 35 and 35') demarcated at demarcation lines (9, 10, 11, 23, 23', 23'', 26, 27, 31, 31') extending practically in parallel with the vertical axis and tightly combined at the separation lines.
