<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To autonomously determine the timing of image processing using an image processing part, thereby reducing the time that an installation is operated. <P>SOLUTION: The installation 1 has a first movable member 3 and a second movable member 5 and monitors the first movable member 3 with a camera 6. The image processing part 7 inputs, every predetermined time, the images taken with the camera 6, and determines whether or not a characteristic part 4 on the first movable member exists in a predetermined position on each image. When the first movable member 3 is in a position p1 and the second movable member 5 moves back to a position p3, the characteristic part 4 appears in the predetermined position on the image. In synchronization with the determination as to whether or not the characteristic part 4 exists, the image processing part 7 starts the image processing for monitoring the first movable member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
