PURPOSE:To automatically set an image forming condition for each original in parallel with a normal original reading by setting and controlling the image forming condition based on a characteristic of a discriminated specified pattern. CONSTITUTION:Each parts are controlled based on a control program stored in ROM by a controller part 27, and a full color image formation process is carried out. At that time, if reflected beam on an original is color resolved by a color image sensor 8 which constitutes an image reading means, the characteristic (color) of the specified pattern (color image) printed on the original image is discriminated by a discriminating means (color judging part 209), the image forming conditions (image forming magnification, image forming number of pieces, paper size, etc., independently or in combination) are set and controlled by a control part 214 based on the characteristic of the discriminated specified pattern, and an image forming mode is automatically set which decides the image forming sequence for each read original. Thus, image forming processes against originals with different image forming conditions can be carried out continuously. |
