PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately retrieve a content such as an image with sensitive expression. SOLUTION: In the device, a first database DB1 associating two or more kinds of musical composition names with at least one text related to the musical meaning of each musical composition name; a second database DB 2 associating two or more kinds of texts with a color pattern related to the text meaning of each text; and a third database DB 3 associating two or more kinds of contents with a color pattern shown by each content are prepared. When an input part 2 receives input of a retrieval musical composition name, a retrieval part 3 retrieves a text with which the retrieval musical composition name is associated in reference to the first database DB1, retrieves a color pattern associated with the meaning of the retrieved text in reference to the second database DB2, and retrieves a content associated with the retrieved color pattern in reference to the third database DB3.
