A calendar holding tool is provided to secure easy workability by forming holes for fitting hanging units, by punching and to prevent the lower side of a bent surface from being lifted up even by elastic returning power of a metal plate, by forming bent grooves. A calendar holding tool has a bent surface(2) formed by bending a metal plate of the predetermined width and thickness at the predetermined angle about a bendable part(1) and bent grooves(3) formed on the inner side of the bent surface. The bent grooves are formed at the lower side of the bendable part forming the bent surface. The inner side of the bendable part is straight. A rib of the bendable part is thicker than a rib of the metal plate. The bent groove is a curved surface. A reinforcing rib(2a) is formed at the lower side of the bent surface.
