A transceiving method of mobility information for supporting handover and roaming in a digital broadcasting system and a device thereof are provided to offer mobility information previously necessary for performing handover/roaming of a terminal to the terminal through a notification message or anther signaling unit, thereby efficiently supporting handover. Mobility information(302) consists of the first information element(304) for indicating whom controls handover/roaming, the second information element(306) for indicating whether signaling through a bidirectional network is available, and the third information element(308) for indicating whether service delivery through the bidirectional network is available. A terminal(312) determines which type of handover/roaming is to be performed on the basis of the mobility information(314).
