<p>A four-wheel drive vehicle comprises: a rear transaxle driving rear axles; a front transaxle driving front axles; and an engine disposed between the front and rear transaxles. A hydraulic motor for driving the front axles is provided in the front transaxle. A speed change transmission mechanism for driving the rear axles, provided in the rear transaxle, has a function of switching rotation direction, and is drivingly connected to the engine. A hydraulic pump for supplying pressurized oil to the hydraulic motor of the front transaxle is provided in the rear transaxle.</p>
