<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of performing color matching with high accuracy by calculating color matching accuracy by objective judgement standards based on a human visual characteristic, also verifying the color matching by the objective judgement standards based on the human visual characteristic in each of different color conversion contents and appropriately updating a profile and to provide its method and its medium. <P>SOLUTION: In this present invention, a printer profile corresponding to a color conversion method is used to prepare image data of color patches, and an image output device 3 uses the image data of the color patches and prints the color patches on a recording medium and outputs the recording medium with the color patches printed thereon. A colorimeter 20 measures the color of each of the color patches recorded on the recording medium, and matching accuracy calculating part 8 uses the measurement data of measurement results to calculate the accuracy (CRI) of color matching. A matching accuracy determining part 9 compares the CRI with a preset threshold TH, determines whether the accuracy of the color matching is good or bad and notifies determination results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
