<p>The rust preventive pigment-containing polyfunctional epoxy resin paint composition of the present invention comprises (A) a polyfunctional epoxy resin, (B) a modified aliphatic polyamine, (C) a rust preventive pigment, (D) a silane coupling agent and (E) a moisture absorbent. When applied to, e. g. , the inner tank wall surface of an LNG carrier, this coating composition enables the hull, especially the inner hull, to be bonded through the mastic to a heat-shielding layer to be formed on the inner circumferential surface of the full. The coating film thus obtained has high bonding strength at ultralow temperatures (e.g., -25°C) and anticorrosive performance.</p> |
