The device (1) has a retainer (13) for a container such that an optionally multi-part contact surface (6) is formed between the retainer and the container. A volume of the retainer is reduced based on an original volume of the container when the container is in a closed state. The retainer is designed in a cylindrical shape or with polygonal cross section. A plunger is provided for reducing the volume of the container. The retainer is provided in a body, and the plunger is moved with respect to the body by rotation of a handle.
