A sound device mounting structure in a scooter is provided to utilize a dead space effectively and to restrain the reduction of the volume of a receiving box by arranging sound parts in a space between a scooter body cover and the receiving box. In a scooter, a scooter body frame supporting a steering wheel unit and an engine are covered with scooter body covers(156,173). A receiving box(75) for containing parts is disposed in the scooter body cover. A sound device operating apparatus operating playing of sound parts(79) is disposed near the steering wheel unit. In a sound device mounting structure, the sound parts are arranged in a space(K) surrounded by the receiving box and the scooter body cover.
