An electrophotographic developer, and an electrophotographic imaging device using the developer are provided to improve fixation and durability and to prevent the generation of hot offset. An electrophotographic developer comprises a binder resin which is a polyester resin having an acid value of 20 mg KOH/g or more; a releasing agent which is a mixture comprising a low melting point wax having a melting point lower than the softening point(T1/2) of the binder resin and an acid value less than 1 mg KOH/g and a high melting point wax having a melting point more than the melting point of the low melting point wax and lower than the softening point(T1/2) of the binder resin; a colorant; and a charge control agent.
