The invention relates to a fixture for retaining an elongate, flexible object with a cross-section, especially for retaining an elongate, flexible object that is embodied like a control cable, in at least one spatial direction in order to attach the same to a motor vehicle. Said fixture comprises a base (2) that can be connected to the motor vehicle so as to fasten the fixture to at least one part of the motor vehicle as well as a receiving device (3) that is joined to the base (2) and is provided with a receiving surface (4) which circumferentially contacts and surrounds the object at least in part. The receiving surface extends substantially in two directions, i.e. a first direction extending in the longitudinal direction of the elongate object and a second direction extending essentially in the circumferential direction of the object. At least one additional receiving device (3) is provided which is joined to the base. The receiving surfaces (4) jointly form a contacting and surrounding total receiving surface which also extends in a first and a second direction and prevents the object from circumferentially detaching from the fixture in a substantially radial direction. |
