A method and an apparatus for using resources of an operation support system are provided to offer information and functions which are necessary for a communication manager among a plurality of information and functions provided by the plural operation support system in each communication network. An OSS(Operation Support System) server(200) relays a network manager(100) and an OSS(300), and selects the OSS providing service contents which are required by the network manager among the plural OSS(301,302,303) for providing different information and functions so that the network manager can receive the service contents from the OSS. The OSS server collects the service content information concerned with an authentication procedure of the mobile communication service from a first OSS(301), collects contents information about base station management functions offering the mobile communication service from a second OSS(302), and transmits the collected service content to the network manager.
