A flowerpot support is provided to save water and to prevent the circumference of the flowerpot from becoming dirty. In a flowerpot support(50) for supporting a flowerpot, formed by a drain hole(51) to drain water discharge from the flowerpot and having a gutter(100) to receive water fallen from the drain hole, A drain hole opening and closing apparatus is mounted to close the drain hole when the gutter is removed from the lower part of the flowerpot support and to open the drain hole when the gutter is positioned at the lower part of the flowerpot support. The drain hole opening and closing apparatus contains: a spherical guide(70) with an upper hole(71) and lower hole(72); a spherical rotating body(80) with a penetrating part(81); an interlocking body(90) with a first interlocking pin(91) connected to the spherical rotating body, guided along a lower hole and interlocking the penetrating part and upper/lower hole when the gutter is positioned at the lower part of the flowerpot support; and a second interlocking pin(92) cutting the connection of the penetrating part and upper/lower hole when the gutter is removed from the lower part of the flowerpot support.
