The present invention relates to a die pad (1, 11, 21) being provided with heating elements distributed all over its surface. Disclosed is also a board pressing machine for the manufacture of board pressed pieces and having pressing plates and die pads (1, 11, 21) arranged there between, and heating elements that are connected with one temperature controlling device, or at least one temperature regulating device (9, 19). The invention is characterized in that said heating elements are arranged in the die pads (1, 11, and 21) on the surface thereof and embedded in a matrix (5, 15, and 25) of elastomer. The heating elements are performed as at least one resistance heating wire (6, 16, and 26).
