A method and an apparatus for controlling the QoS(Quality of Service) of a data packet transmitted from the first network to the second network are provided to efficiently the QoS of a data packet by using a proper QoS control parameter when the data packet is transmitted from the first network to the second network. The first node measures the QoS of a data packet and creates a QoS control parameter(S210). On the basis of the created QoS control parameter, the first node marks a specific field of the data packet with a redefined QoS policy(S220). The first node checks whether the marked QoS policy is equivalent to packet drop or transmission denial(S230). If so, the first node deletes the data packet(S260). In case the marked QoS policy is not equivalent to packet drop or transmission denial, however, the first node adds the data packet to a queue(S240). Then, based on the QoS policy, the first node executes scheduling for the data packet(S250).
