A multi-functional fiber is provided to mix and spin a master batch mixed by the nylon chip, nano particles, anti-mold agent and tourmaline, thereby offering the negative ion function. A multi-functional fiber has a horizontal cross-section and includes nano silver, antibacterial agent and tourmaline with the average diameter of 10-70nm. The fiber is made of resin selected from polyester, polyethylene, polypropylene, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, polystyrene, polycarbonate, and polyamide groups. The nano silver, antibacterial agent and tourmaline are polymers with the melting point higher than that of the fiber forming polymer as 10-20 degrees centigrade and is introduced to the fiber by means of a master batch chip. In the multi-functional fiber, the thickness of mono filament has the range of 0.1-10 denier.
