<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for holding and conveying a workpiece without any troubling about deflection accuracy even in a narrow workpiece conveying area of a roller base body forming machine by means of a ring coating. <P>SOLUTION: A component holding mechanism is composed of an upper holding tool using an electromagnet and a lower holding tool using two pairs of air cylinders, which are attached to the six-axis flange of a six-axis robot, whereby a roller is manufactured in a full automatic state, and further the deflection of the outside shape of the roller is restrained to be minimum even when a robot arm performs a high-speed movement and high-speed conveyance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
