<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active sensor, a personal identification device, a portable terminal, and a signal extraction method for suppressing generation of false operation caused by incidence of outside light, and making devices compact. <P>SOLUTION: The active sensor 10 includes: a board 1 having a placement surface 1A facing a subject 200; a light emitting area 30A which is provided on the placement surface 1A and emits light towards the subject 200; a photodetector 20 which is provided on the placement surface 1A and detects light reflected by the subject 200; and a light separator 40 which is provided between the light emitting area 30A and the photodetector 20 on the placement surface 1A and is composed of a light-shielding materials. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
