PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-covering body especially such as a cap without having a brim and a cap for a sport such as a swimming cap, which is provided with a handle, however, free from hanging down of the handle to the ears, forehead or the like of a user or widely hanging down thereof and also free from the poor operability of the handle. SOLUTION: This head-covering body is formed by installing a handle 2 for wearing on and off on the surface of the covering body 1 so as not to protrude to lower direction from the lower part of the covering body 1, or so as to slightly protrude. Further, the head-covering body is formed by installing at least a pair of handles 2 at opposing parts on the surface of the covering body 1 so as not to protrude downward from the lower part of the covering body 1, or so as to slightly protrude.
