The terminal (100) has a display unit (120) e.g. touch sensitive display, provided with a touch-sensitive display surface. A menu bar is generated on the display surface and is moved on the display surface by touching and dragging the menu bar on the display surface into a preset position. A controller (160) defines display fields based on an actual position of the menu bar on the display surface by the menu bar, where the display fields are separated from each other. An independent claim is also included for a display method for a mobile terminal.
